Clear Awareness Clears Emotional Pain
Before we can enjoy a truly happy and fulfilling life – including the joy of a deeply fulfilling intimate relationship – we need to clear our minds from sub-conscious and unconscious negativity.
This is because it’s our, usually deeply buried, negative thoughts that keep us feeling separate, alone and unhappy.
The most effective, and simplest, way I know to clear these painful thoughts and emotions is through the power of Heartful awareness (“Heartfulness”).
From my direct experience I can testify that we do not have to suffer, do not have to live with pain – even when it’s triggered by an extremely challenging life event such as divorce or death.
My experience is that mental angst and emotional pain can be completely healed by the power of awareness.
The power of awareness is like a universal solvent that dissolves even the most seemingly intractable and deeply felt pain.
This disarmingly simple process can heal the deepest emotional wounds. It can bring clarity to your life choices. And it can bring increasing joy to all your relationships.
The popular term “Mindfulness” is simply another name for Heartful awareness; rather like the way Hoover is a commonly substituted name for vacuum cleaner.
Heartfulness is a practice that brings the clarity of awareness to every facet of our lives – our physical sensations, emotions and thoughts – to the way we go about our work and to the quality of our personal and professional relationships.
And, most importantly, true awareness is the practice of unveiling our natural Self, the essence of who and what we truly are.
As such, what I call Heartfulness leads to a level of blissful peace that is worth more than all the financial wealth in the whole world.
By becoming more aware of your thoughts you place yourself in the position of choice: to act from your thoughts, or to act from your Heart intuition, the feeling of Being.
One choice leads to increasing stress, the other to increasing freedom, peace and joy.
If you are willing to devote some time to this simple practice, Heartfulness can impart a profound purpose and meaning to our lives.
Btw: The original oriental words for “heart” and “mind” are the same. They both mean “Awareness”. Watch the videos below in which Jon Kabat-Zinn, who brought the practice of mindfulness to the attention of the world, explains …
Heartfulness brings numerous life-enhancing benefits
- It reduces stress at work and at home
- It improves all facets of our relationships
- It enhances our creative imagination
- It increases the clarity of logical and conceptual thinking
- It has positive effects on our physical, emotional and mental health and well-being
- It gives our lives an inherent sense of purpose and meaning
- It unveils the reality of who we truly are
- It’s enjoyable … and it’s fun! 🙂
The absolute importance of Heartfulness
Watch the videos below to see and hear what Jon Kabat-Zinn has to say about the absolute importance of “Heartfulness”.
Heartfulness is the spirit of acceptance, compassion, kindness and gratitude. These are the essential ingredients without which mindfulness (which simply means “awareness”) would lose it’s power if it were perceived, incorrectly, as nothing more than another cognitive mental technique:
Heartfulness implicitly includes, and goes beyond, all the principles of mindfulness
